Open Heart Open Circle
I am sad to say, that as of todays date of Feb. 28th, 2014 for the first time ever. Open Heart Open Circle is closed. I never hoped to see this day come. I hope that everyone can remember us we were and that they are happy memories. We remember you all with happy memories those still with us and those members that have passed on to our ancestors. We have no plans to have a closing ceremony at this time. But we do ask that if you have the time lite a candle for the circle.
You'll need to prepare the batter at least two hours ahead of time.
Ingredients
1 Teaspoon - Vanilla Extract
18oz Box - Moist Cake Mix (Your Choice of Flavor)
8oz Block - Cream Cheese (An 8oz Tub of Flavored Cream Cheese also works)
1 - Egg
1 Stick - Butter
Powdered Sugar (For Dusting)
Equipment Needed
Electric Mixer - Hand or Stand (It doesn't matter)
Cookie Sheet(s)
Parchment Paper
Oven
Small Bowl - To Roll the Batter Balls in the Powdered Sugar
Cake Cookies
Directions

Preparing the batter...

In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, cream the cream cheese and butter until smooth.

Beat in the egg then the vanilla extract.

Beat in the cake mix.

Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours to firm up so that the batter can be rolled into balls later.

After two hours (or more)...

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Roll the chilled batter into tablespoon-sized balls then roll them in the powdered sugar.

Place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet - 2 inches apart.

Bake for 12 minutes.
